2024 Bond & Levy Information
On April 2, 2024 the Orrick School District is running separate bond and levy issues to be voted on by the public.
The Bond Issue (Proposition Orrick Schools) is a No-Tax Increase $2 million dollar bond that if passed would be used to address several projects including: Renovated Secure Elementary and High School Entries, New Elementary Doors, Replacing Gym HVAC Equipment, Upgrading Electrical Panels, Renovation of Room 5 to a Library Media Center, Relocation and Upgrade of Elementary Playground, and the Payment of Buses and Transportation Needs.
The Levy Issue (Proposition Bearcats) is a $1 levy increase to address operating funds of the district with the intention of allowing the district to maintain current district staffing while remaining focused on staff salaries to keep Orrick competitive with area schools.
Community forums will be held at 6:00 p.m. in Room 5 on Wednesday, February 28th and Thursday, March 14th to provide detail and answer questions on these two ballot issues. Community forums will cover the same information at both meetings.
